Case Study: Rare Chemical Engineering Talent for Medical-Grade Biomaterials
A global manufacturing client came to Talent Hunting after a major recruitment agency had spent months searching without success.
The challenge was highly technical: the client needed specialist chemical engineering expertise to solve a production bottleneck in monodisperse silica particle uniformity, a critical requirement for medical-grade diagnostic and drug delivery applications.
Rather than relying on job boards or title-based search, we mapped the market globally and targeted the rare intersection of:
- inorganic chemical synthesis;
- process scale-up;
- GMP awareness;
- pharmaceutical-grade validation;
- regulatory and safety requirements.
We identified and secured two complementary Chemical Engineers: one with deep process scale-up and facility commissioning experience, the other with pharmaceutical QA, GMP validation, MSDS authoring and commercial strategy expertise.
Together, they gave the client the capability to move from industrial production toward high-purity, medical-grade silica substrates.
